The Ukrainian armed units retreated from the village of Staromayorskoye under pressure from Russian troops, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said on July 31, Rossiya 24 informs.
Pushilin said that Russian forces were able to achieve “certain successes.”
“Our units were able to dislodge the enemy,” he stated. At the same time, the Ukrainian armed units suffered heavy losses.
At the same time, positional battles continue in the DPR, Pushilin noted.
