Logistics facilities and an administrative building in the Odessa region were damaged as a result of the explosions, Nataliya Gumenyuk, spokeswoman for the Ukrainian Defense Forces South, said on the air of an all-Ukrainian telethon on July 20.
She reported hits in the Nikolaev and Odessa regions.
“In Odessa, an administrative building was destroyed. The consequences are still being specified. <…> The hits in the region concern logistics facilities – these are warehouses,” Gumenyuk said.
In addition, the strike damaged an infrastructure facility in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the head of the regional military administration, Serhey Lysak, said.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced retaliatory missile strikes on targets where terrorist attacks against Russia using surface unmanned vessels were being prepared and on their production site at a ship repair plant near Odessa. The missile strikes were a response to the attack on the Crimean bridge on the night of July 16-17.
