Spiegel: Two infantry fighting vehicles collide at the training ground in Germany

Two Puma infantry fighting vehicles collided at the German military training ground Munster, located on the  Lüneburg Heath, Spiegel wrote on February 1.

The newspaper reports that the infantry fighting vehicles collided while reversing from a position in a combat training center during exercises of the 9th Tank Training Brigade of the Bundeswehr.

According to the newspaper, two soldiers were seriously injured in the collision, and one of them had to be taken to hospital by helicopter because of his serious back injury. Several other soldiers suffered broken arms.

According to Spiegel, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, who visited the Bundeswehr Leopards unit in Augustdorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, spoke about eleven wounded.
