The Ministry of State Security (MSS) of the Donetsk People’s Republic has uncovered facts of crimes against humanity in a secret prison of the Security Service of Ukraine (Ukrainian: SBU), the spokesman of the ministry Mikhail Popov said on April 16, the Donetsk News Agency (DAN) reported.

Popov said that DPR MSS officers, as a result of investigative actions, revealed new facts showing that “directly on the territory of the Mariupol airport, where there was a secret SBU prison for dissidents who opposed the Kiev nationalist regime,” criminal actions were committed against prisoners.

According to the spokesman, the investigation resulted in the initiation of a number of criminal cases on crimes committed by Kiev punitive forces.

It was reported that in March, as a result of the liberation of the Mariupol airport territory from the Kiev occupants, the DPR and Russian Federation soldiers discovered a secret prison, which may be a secret SBU prison notoriously known under the conventional name “Library”, about which it is known that opponents of the Kiev regime were illegally held and tortured there during the occupation.
