The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired on a village in Armenia’s Syunik region, killing one civilian and injuring two others, Armenian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan wrote on November 2 on her Facebook page.

“Today at around 6.10 p.m. (5.10 p.m. Moscow time zone), the Azerbaijani side shelled the Armenian Armed Forces’ positions and David Beck village [in the Syunik region – Rossa Primavera News Agency] with artillery,” Stepanyan said.

David-Bek village is located on the border between Armenia and Karabakh and is about 50 km away from the border with Iran.

This is not the first shelling of Armenian territory by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which the Armenian side reports. Earlier on September 29, Armenian Defense Ministry informed that Azerbaijani side fired on military unit in Vardenis city in Armenia.
