Kiev junta’s statement, according to which the representatives of Donetsk People’s Republic demand Kiev’s military to leave all strategically important heights, is an attempt to “twist” the proposition of DPR authorities for demilitarization of Shyrokino, according to Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry.
Earlier representatives of the junta in Mariupol said that the Ukrainian military received the demands to leave all strategic heights in Shyrokino, Staroignatovka and other places in Mariupol area during the meeting in Minsk.

There really is a strategic height in Shyrokino which allows Ukrainian military to shell DPR very conveniently. There are no DPR forces in Shyrokino, they are long gone from there, and the only thing we insist on is the demilitarization of Shyrokino by the Ukrainian side. But they present it as a demand to leave the strategic heights. Thus, they distort the information.
