Western coalition kills two Syrian servicemen

07.06.20.17, Syria.

Two Syrian servicemen were killed as a result of US-led anti-terrorist coalition’s airstrikes targeting Syrian government forces, RIA Novosti news agency reported on June 6 citing the Syrian military’s information.

The report also says that there were 15 servicemen wounded.

Earlier the US-led coalition stated that Syrian troops entered the de-escalation zone in the south of Syria, which threatened the coalition and its partners located at the At-Tanf base. Thereafter coalition airstrikes followed.

Official Damascus rejects US-led coalition activities in Syria strongly, for they have no official permission from Syrian authorities. Russian units are the only legitimate foreign military forces in Syria that were sent to the country after President Bashar al-Asad’s appeal.
