The Ukrainian Command acknowledged the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye Region. Vladislav Voloshyn, spokesperson for Ukraine’s southern military grouping, confirmed this on October 27, as Strana ua wrote.
According to the Ukrainian military representative, Russian forces are making successful advances along the Zaporozhye direction.
“The Russian Army has increased certain efforts, conducted a regrouping, and carried out large-scale assault actions. As a result, they achieved partial success, penetrating Ukrainian defenses,” he stated.
On October 27, Ukrainian authorities also confirmed losing control of the village of Levadnoye in Zaporozhye Region.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces are engaged in fighting for the village of Shakhtyorskoye in the Vremyevka area, located along the border between Zaporozhye Region and the Donetsk People’s Republic.
