The involvement of the United States in a planned provocation by the Kiev regime using chemical weapons is confirmed by statements from US officials themselves, said General-Lieutenant Igor Kirillov, Chief of the Russian NBC Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, during a briefing on October 7.
Kirillov pointed to a statement made by Nicole Shampaine, the US representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), in July 2024 as evidence of US involvement in the preparation of provocations by the Ukrainian militants with chemical weapons. She prematurely, baselessly, and openly declared the US’s intention to hold Russia accountable during the Conference of the States Parties to the OPCW scheduled for November 2024.
Kirillov stated earlier today that the Ukrainian militants are preparing provocations using chemical weapons to discredit the Russian Armed Forces. Furthermore, if their plans are realized, Kiev intends to seek the removal of Russian representatives from positions in the OPCW Technical Secretariat.
