22.09.2024, Beirut.

The Lebanese movement Hezbollah launched a missile strike on defense enterprises in northern Israel, representatives of the movement said on September 22, according to RIA Novosti.

This attack was Lebanon’s response to an Israeli terrorist act involving mass explosions of communication devices belonging to Hezbollah members.

“In response to the massacre conducted by hostile Israel in various regions of Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday, Islamic resistance fighters struck the Rafael military-industrial complex in Zvulun, north of Haifa, with ‘Fadi-1,’ ‘Fadi-2,’ and ‘Katyusha’ rockets,” Hezbollah representative stated. According to Hezbollah’s intelligence, this complex was developing electronics for military equipment.

Previously, Israel carried out two waves of missile strikes, targeting 180-290 objects in southern Lebanon. Several days prior, mass explosions of radios, pagers, and other devices, mainly carried by Hezbollah members, occurred. Thousands of people were injured, including children, and dozens were killed.
