Russian air defense forces shot down six Neptune missiles and about two hundred drones launched by the Kiev regime within a day, representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry wrote on September 21 on the agency’s Telegram channel.

“Air defense systems shot down six long-range guided Neptune missiles,” the statement reads. It is also mentioned that three French-made Hammer precision-guided bombs, ten US-made HIMARS MLRS shells, and 177 aircraft-type drones were shot down.

The R-360 Neptune is a Ukrainian anti-ship missile, developed based on the Soviet X-35 missile. The developer is the Kiev design bureau Luch.
