The Ukrainian armed units attack on the Crimea-2 platform is connected with the arrival of representatives of the USA and the European Union, the Russian Defense Ministry said on 11 September.
The ministry believes that the attack on the platform in the Black Sea is of a mass media nature.
There reported that the operation prepared for the visit of foreigners failed.
The Ukrainians have already attacked the Crimea-1 and Crimea-2 towers installed in the Black Sea in 2022.
Then Ukraine hit the platforms with long-range Crimeaweapons. As a result of the attack injured several people, a fire broke out on one of the towers.
Earlier it became known that on the night of September 11, the Kiev regime’s attempt to seize the Russian jack-up drilling rig “Crimea-2” in the waters of the Black Sea was thwarted.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukrainian military intelligence had dispatched a naval landing force of 14 US Willard Sea Force boats to seize the rig.
During the battle, the Black Sea Fleet forces and Russian servicemen sank eight sea boats and destroyed up to eighty Ukrainian military personnel.
Another six Ukrainian boats retreated without even attempting to retrieve the wounded Ukrainian servicemen who remained in the water.
