Russian Foreign Ministry says it has not received Scholz’s “peace plan”

The Russian Foreign Ministry has not received official reports about the “peace plan” on Ukraine supposedly being prepared by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on September 11.

This is all some leaks and some gossip and so on. There are no official confirmations, so there is essentially nothing to comment on,” she said.

Zakharova emphasized that such reports have not received, neither directly from the authorities of the FRG, nor through intermediaries. Meanwhile, the only way Berlin can prove the desire to establish peace in Ukraine is to stop supplying weapons, as well as sponsoring “uncleanness” and “Nazi ideological attitudes”.

Earlier, the Italian newspaper Repubblica, citing a source in the German parliament, reported that Scholz and representatives of his Social Democratic Party, Ralf Stegner and Rolf Mützenich, were preparing a settlement plan on Ukraine. The journalists called it “a kind of Minsk-3,” noting that it does not rule out concessions to Moscow.
