There is still hope that the West will understand Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposals for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on June 14, according to journalist Pavel Zarubin.

According to the Russian foreign minister, even if the West agrees to negotiate with Russia, it is absolutely impossible to be sure that the West “will not ditch”.

Nevertheless, he noted, the Russian “president is very patient.

Putin has expressed his proposals, “who has ears, let them hear, who has brains, let them understand,” Lavrov emphasized.

However, the minister added, “I am not sure that everything is in order there [in the Western countries] with these organs of the human body, but hope dies last.
