The Russian army liberated the village of Ivanovka in Kharkov Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a summary on May 27.
“The units of the Zapad Group of Forces liberated the village of Ivanovka in Kharkov Region and took more favorable positions,” the statement reads.
The Russian Defense Ministry also mentioned the fighting near the villages of Nevskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic and Novosadovoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Three counterattacks of the Ukrainian militants were repelled, as a result of which they lost up to 405 personnel.
The Russian artillery also hit a 155mm UK self-propelled howitzer Braveheart, 152mm howitzer D-20, 122mm howitzer D-30, and two 122mm combat vehicles of MLRS Bastion, the ministry specified.
