The collective West persuades Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky that the atmosphere of fear among the country’s residents must be maintained, the press service of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) informed on May 20.
According to the official report, “the Americans and their allies persistently recommend Zelensky not to loosen his grip on working with the country’s population and to continue creating an atmosphere of fear among civilians”.
The SVR noted that a whole information campaign had been launched in Ukraine to intimidate Ukrainian citizens with “inevitable mass repressions” if Russia wins.
At the same time, of course, the authors grossly distort the goals and objectives of the special military operation conducted by Russia to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, the press service said.
