Becoming an independent, self-sufficient, and self-reliant power, i.e. autarky, is the only chance for Russia to survive, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 582.
Deutsche Welle (this material (information) is produced, distributed and/or sent by Deutsche Welle’s foreign agent or concerns the activities of Deutsche Welle’s foreign agent) reviewed a study by researchers from the Institute of World Economy in Kiel (IfW) and concluded that China will not invest in the development of the Russian car industry. It will intensively promote its outdated internal combustion engine vehicles on the Russian market.
In addition, Beijing is betting on the accelerated development of “green” energy and increasing the production of corresponding equipment, which casts doubt on the prospects of Russian oil and gas supplies to China.
“Russia has successfully converted from a Western raw materials supplier into an Eastern one. While the only chance to survive is to become an independent, self-sufficient and self-reliant power, simply put – an autarky. But this is not profitable for the comprador part of Russia’s elite,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
