The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall is a typical “false flag action” aimed at destabilizing the internal situation in Russia, said philosopher, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 8 on Belarusian channel BelTA.
Kurginyan has pointed to the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that everyone who should be involved in the investigation of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall must be activated. The political scientist is certain that this investigation will bring more substantial revelations than what is currently been discovered, including the facts about the terrorists’ escape route.
“Putin said it himself that these terrorists had an escape route at the Ukrainian border,” noted Kurginyan.
The political scientist expressed doubt that foreign Islamists could organize such an escape route on their own.
“I have a question: was this escape route organized by some Wilayat Khorasan (an organization banned in Russia)? Does it now have an escape route on our border and on the Ukrainian one too? This is not possible,” said the political scientist.
Kurginyan noted that he considers such statements made by the head of state as very serious, and they will result in certain conclusions. If there is an escape route at the border, and terrorists were going to use it, then it is necessary to find out who organized all this.
“Who made it happen? Well, Tajik migrants were not masterminds behind it, right? None of this Wilayats or ISIS (an organization banned in Russia)… Someone else did this,” emphasized Kurginya.
According to him, every reasonable person understands that as soon as we talk about such an escape route at the border, then all the hypotheses about some idiots and scoundrels who simply got paid, came in with weapons and shot everyone, no longer work. He said that special attention must be paid to what the official authorities are saying when they start to refer to the special military operation in Ukraine as the war.
“Well, that’s what the official authorities said. There is not a single authority, from the Foreign Ministry to the FSB and right up to the president, who did not say that ‘this is a Ukrainian trace’,” said the political scientist.
One has to wonder whether it is some kind of extravagant new policy. “Well, to be honest, there is nothing new to it,” noted Kurginyan, explaining that people who deal with terrorist activity issues know very well what is being talked about.
“We are very familiar with such a great term as ‘action under a false flag.’ Working under a false flag is a standard,” emphasized Kurginyan.
According to him, rarely, such operations take place in any other way. “And in this case, we have every reason to believe that this work is under a false flag, so to speak” he added.
The political scientist named the reasons that caused terrorist activity against Russia, and why it had intensified now. According to him, there is information that not only the British intelligence services, but also the US Joint Chiefs of Staff got involved in this case.
“Besides Richard Moore, who has long interested me, and others, the head of the the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the US military got involved, who finally said that the main type of activity that should be carried out in relation to Russia is sabotage on its territory. This was information from meetings he held. He is an official actor,” Kurginyan explained.
In the situation where there is not enough money for shells and everything else, it was decided to intensify terrorist activities. And the goal is to destabilize the internal situation in Russia.
“It is quite clear that the belief is that this activity should destroy a certain prestige of the authorities, their reputation – as if they cannot provide the safety to their citizens. And using this to create a completely new situation inside Russia,” he noted.
According to him, it is extremely doubtful that this will happen, instead, the level of people’s mobilization will increase. The political scientist explained the specifics of the Russian mentality.
“Russian people, as well as the Belarusians have a certain quality, I think. I know it well, that when such troubles happen, then something happens inside, you know, a peasant needs thunder to cross himself and wonder.
When the thunder struck, it means the man begins to cross himself, that is, to mobilize even more,” Kurginyan explained.
By the way, the results of increased mobilization are begining to show. “More people decide to sign a contract with the Russian army, a lot more people are saying that they are doing it exactly because of these events,” added the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
