Ukraine and the West make a bet on drone-sabotage warfare. Opinion

Ukraine and its Western masters made a bet on drone-sabotage warfare because of its lower costs, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 581.

In early April, the Ukrainian media wrote that the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian  Defense Ministry (GUR) and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) launched strikes on three Russian airfields located in Kursk, Yeysk, and Engels. As a result, several airplanes were damaged and Russian servicemen were killed.

Russian military Telegram channels said that the planes were not damaged in the drone attacks. The Russian Defense Ministry also did not report any damage to aircraft, only downed drones.

“It is obvious that Kiev and its Western handlers are betting on drone-sabotage warfare – logistically it is much more profitable and accessible. But this is a game that can and even should be played with two people, as Iskanders and Kinzhals could be spared for specific purposes,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
