On the occasion of the second anniversary of the staged Bucha massacre, Russia demands from international agencies to stop covering up for the Kiev regime and launch an investigation, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a commentary published by the agency’s press service on April 2.
Numerous requests from the Russian side to international organizations to establish all the circumstances of what happened in Bucha remain unanswered, the commentary reads. “This shows that the organizers of this heinous act have things to hide,” Zakharova noted.
In the commentary, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman once again stressed that this provocation was “a put-up job and a staged provocation,” pointing out that Kiev has tried more than once in the past two years to distract the attention of the world community from its own crimes using the tragedy in Bucha.
“This year, the Kiev officials’ attempts to make a big event out of this anniversary have an extra goal of preventing the international community from focusing on the challenging situation in Ukraine and on the line of contact,” Zakharova added.
