Everything is ready for a comprehensive “drone war,” and the development of new unmanned weapons is only accelerating, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 578.
The world is actively developing UAV technologies, primarily, of course, for military purposes. For example, in the USA, a system is being actively developed that involves deploying many drones alongside manned aircraft. These drones are supposed to provide cover for aircraft and can also act as reconnaissance or communication hubs.
Ukraine said that in a year at the most, both sides of the conflict in Ukraine would start producing such a number of drones that would make it possible to destroy every soldier. And German media reported that the Ukrainian armed units started using land robots. In particular, they tested near Artyomovsk the Armadillo drone, which is an American M2 machine gun mounted on a wheeled platform with remote control.
