The liberation of Avdeevka was accomplished more quickly and with fewer losses than the liberation of Artyomovsk, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 574.
A Belarusian journalist and military correspondent called the liberation of Avdeevka a high achievement of the Russian military art of recent times. He explained that the Ukrainian militants in the town had twice as many forces as the advancing Russian troops. Despite this, the Russian army broke the back of the Ukrainian Nazis in the Suvorov style.
“It is worth noting that Avdeevka was indeed liberated faster and with fewer losses than Artyomovsk,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
