Russian engineers presented a system for biorhythm stimulation Ritm-Polyot, which allows servicemen to recover in 20 minutes, achieving the effect of a full-fledged sleep lasting 4-6 hours, the press service of Rostec informed on February 22.
The Ritm-Polyot system for biorhythm stimulation, developed by engineers of the Nizhny Novgorod-based Polyot Research and Production Enterprise within Rostec State Corporation, is already being used for the recovery of servicemen participating in special operations.
The device provides deep relaxation of the organism through programmed light and sound effects, which helps normalize the emotional state, relieve fatigue and tension, and increase resistance to stress.
The system consists of a mask with a built-in screen, headphones and a control panel, allowing the duration and intensity of the procedure to be adjusted. The development was originally designed for military pilots, but its application has become more widespread, including use in the area of a special military operation.
According to Aleksey Komyakov, Director General of Polet Research and Production Enterprise, the use of Rhythm-Polet not only improves the performance of personnel, but also trains resistance to stressful situations and stimulates the body’s defense mechanisms.
This development was presented at the international exhibition forum Russia at the stand of Nizhny Novgorod Region, held at Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy until July 8, as part of the Russian products for the needs of Russia’s special military operation.
