The Almaz-Antey JSC Concern is developing a radar field over Russia to monitor aircraft at low altitudes, RIA Novosti wrote on February 6.
“It has already been significantly expanded today compared to what it was before the special military operation began, and continues to be enlarged in various directions, especially where threats persist,” the concern’s deputy general director Dmitry Savitsky told RIA Novosti.
Savitsky also said that the concern has created a surveillance system that monitors drones, helicopters and small aircraft, the system combines radio-technical means of surveillance and airspace control and a common server for determining coordinates and analyzing detected UAVs.
