The authority of science has collapsed, it was subordinated to the politics and forced to serve, said political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on November 23 during the XVIII All-Russian Conference “Health is the basis of human potential: problems and ways to solve them”, as Rossa Primavera News Agency’s correspondent reported.
Kurginyan said that if Russia really wants its population to be healthy and constantly growing, it should not follow Western trends in medicine. Because the World Health Organization (WHO), for example, is not at all about freedom of science and the development of medicine.
He pointed out that WHO had effectively imposed a ban on discussion of many topics in the scientific community. This was particularly evident during coronavirus vaccination – prominent doctors were literally forbidden to speak out against vaccination out of fear to lose their regalia.
Kurginyan linked this process to the general degradation of science in the world. Science was supposed to be outside politics, but it was brought into this space and forced to serve the politics.
“The credibility of science has collapsed. Science was the last thing which anyone trust. Well, some people are religious and believe in God, and some people don’t. Therefore, a certain common denominator was needed. Science became disgraced, it became politicized and servile. Fear was planted in it, and the fear of saying the wrong thing on this issue [vaccination against coronavirus] was stronger than the fear during Stalinism. What is ahead has nothing to do with any freedom,” summarized the political scientist.
