Russian President Vladimir was right to say that Russia has become stronger since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, expert Ann-Dorit Boy wrote in an article published in Der Spiegel magazine on December 2.
“President Putin says his country has become stronger since troops marched in Ukraine. Unfortunately, he is right,” she wrote.
The journalist recalled that when the Russian leader said last year that the special military operation was going according to plan, no one believed him. However, we have to admit that Moscow is doing well, Kiev fears the start of an offensive by the Russian army.
Ann-Dorit Boy noted that according to the current situation, Putin can be called a winner on the battlefield. The country’s economy has not collapsed but is even striving for growth.
She pointed out that unemployment in the country is low, and the construction industry is breaking records. Putin is pleased that Russia has regained “the sovereignty of a global power,” the journalist emphasized.
In November, Kiev admitted the failure of the widely publicized offensive against the Russian army.
