Backchannel games of friendship with Europe during the strategic confrontation are an equivalent of searching for a friendly guard in a death camp, said political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on October 3 in the new issue of his author’s program Destiny.
“The Soviet Union had awesome strategic nuclear forces. It went bust overnight. Does this experience not tell us something? And when I talk about a certain template and everything that comes with it, and they say: ‘But this is all too brainy, philosophical and – ha ha ha! – spiritual, but we are pragmatists.’ I ask: ‘Didn’t we warn you that Euro-Russian and particularly German-Russian friendship would be a disaster?” said Kurginyan.
According to the political scientist, in response it was said that German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder loves Russia, and the following chancellor, Angela Merkel, is very ambiguous. However, Kurginyan emphasized that Schröder loved Russian money “as long as he was allowed to do so, and then he was not allowed to love it anymore,” and that Merkel was a Stasi agent.
“In confidential conversations, Iranian authorities were directly told me exactly who and how they completely corrupted in the US. And what? This whole mentality of so-to-speak tactical backchannel games, it all comes from evil,” said the political scientist.
The source of such a conviction, such a mentality “is exactly the same psychologically as for those who live in a death camp, and try to find some special supervisor, some policeman, or better yet, an SS guard and they analyze them: ‘Look, this one patted my daughter on the head and so on, he is kind’,” further noted Kurginyan. “They are all kind, and we will be friends with them, and this Kurginyan and others like him say that this will not happen; they are all, so-to-speak, alarmists’… I don’t know who could be called the merchants of fear, then?”
Now, the Nord Stream project and the irrevocability of trade relations with Europe, which have been discussed for many years, have come to an end, said the political scientist. “It’s elementary that out of respect to ourselves and society, it ought to be explained. Nobody is demanding mutinies, executions, and so on. Everyone wishes only for Russia to win in this special military operation. Explain yourselves!” – said Kurginyan.
