Russian Deputy Prime Minister: All four lanes of the Crimean bridge opened ahead of schedule

Traffic for cars on the Crimean bridge was restored on all four lanes, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin wrote on his Telegram channel on October 14.

It is noted that the bridge was repaired ahead of schedule. It was planned to finish the work by November 1.

“All the work lasted less than three months! During this time, two damaged spans were dismantled and new ones were installed,”  Khusnullin wrote.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, a total of 534 tons of metal structures were used to repair both spans, and the roadbed required more than 360 tons of asphalt concrete.

Щn the night of July 17, Ukrainian surface drones attacked the Crimean bridge. As a result of the attack, the automobile part of the bridge was damaged. Two people were killed.
