Deliveries of Chinese-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine have decreased over a year and a half to five pieces, China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC) reported on October 1.
According to the agency, from March 2022 to the end of the year, Chinese companies did not bring drones for Ukraine through customs. Between January and August 2023, five drones were delivered to Ukraine.
Nevertheless, according to the data in January – February 2022, Ukraine was supplied with about 530 Chinese UAVs for a total of 904 000 USD.
It should be noted that in the first eight months of 2023 exports from China to Ukraine decreased down to $1.67 billion (a decrease of 34%).
On August 7, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that China would take an impartial and independent position on the Ukrainian crisis.
