Aggressive rhetoric in defense of Ukraine’s territorial integrity at the UN Security Council meeting is used by the same countries that most aggressively violated the territorial integrity of Serbia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on September 20 on the air of Radio and Television of Serbia.
“Today at the Security Council meeting, those who were most aggressive on the issue of protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine were those who were most aggressive in violating the integrity of Serbia. It is paradoxically, sometimes it even sounds funny, but it is true,” Aleksandar Vucic said.
On September 20, the UN Security Council discussed the situation in Kosovo.
In 1999, NATO, without the approval of the UN Security Council, taking advantage of the situation of the armed conflict between the Albanian separatists from the Kosovo Liberation Army and the Serbian authorities, started bombing the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The bombing was carried out from March 24 to June 10, 1999. As a result, according to the Yugoslav authorities, more than two thousand people were killed, and about six thousand were wounded.
