Kurginyan: Israel is unlikely to counteract the coming Nazism

31.08.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

Israel travels in the wake of US policy, so we should not expect from it any serious moves against the rehabilitation of Nazism, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on August 11 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.

The host Anna Shafran asked why there is no concern in the world about Nazism, which the West has legitimized to use it against Russia.

Kurginyan told that he spent 10-15 years of his life and the resources of his organization attempting to raise awareness about the revival of Nazism around the world.

I always believed that the state of Israel should have been the first to become concerned about this. That their memory of the Holocaust was strong enough, and that I could talk to the people and tell them, ‘Guys, look who has come,’ the analyst said.

According to Kurginyan, the last person in Israel who could recognize the threat of newly imminent Nazism was Yitzhak Rabin; after his death, the other Israeli officials turned a blind eye to any arguments offered to them in a manner like “There’s no problem! So what?”

Israel is not a state ready to follow a sovereign path in the wake of the United States,” the political scientist explained. “It is being towed by a US cruiser. It does not have its own engine, its own stratagem,” Kurginyan explained.

The political scientist noted that Israel today as compared to the first decade of its existence has become “a very hedonistic consumerist state.”

He explained that major transformations have taken place in Israel’s attitude to the Holocaust. “On the one hand, fear still remains. On the other hand, this is not that fear they used to have. Thirdly, they are moving ‘in the wake.’”
