Rosaviatsia launched an investigation into the Embraer airplane crash that occurred in the Tver region on Wednesday, with Yevgeny Prigozhin on the passenger list of the plane, Rosaviatsia said in a statement.

The crash occurred today, August 23, in the Tver region.
“An investigation has been launched into the crash of the Embraer airplane, which occurred this evening in the Tver region. According to the available information, the name and surname of Evgeny Prigozhin were on the passenger list,” noted in the Department.
Earlier, TASS, citing a source in the Russian Emergencies Ministry, reported that an Embraer business jet crashed in the Tver region, killing the people on board.
“The Embraer airplane was traveling from Sheremetyevo to St. Petersburg. There were three pilots and seven passengers on board. All of them were killed,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
As he reported, the tragedy occurred near the village of Kuzhenkino. The plane was in flight for less than half an hour, when it hit the ground, it burned.
