The EU has supplied Kiev with almost 224,000 artillery shells instead of the promised one million, Die Welt wrote on August 11.
The publication reported that the number of artillery shells delivered to Ukraine should be one million by spring. This figure is expected to be reached through deliveries by individual countries and general deliveries by the EU.
The publication pointed out that the EU was far from its goal.
“With the current deliveries, the EU countries are still far from their goal by next spring,” the publication concluded.
