Rossotrudnichestvo head speaks about US citizens willing to move to Russia

28.07.2023, Moscow.

US citizens who want to emigrate to Russia are looking for a place where their children can grow up as free people in a society of traditional values, head of Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) Yevgeniy Primakov said, RIA Novosti wrote on July 28.

The US citizens applied to Rossotrudnichestvo with a request to grant citizenship because they believe that their children “can grow up to be free, harmonious, adequate people with a normal moral scale, and they would like their children to grow up in exactly such an atmosphere created in Russia,” he said.

These people have a good average income, and in the USA, many of them have their own farms or a similar business. Most of them are large families, most often people of traditional values, many of them not related to Orthodoxy.

They have applied to Rossotrudnichestvo for help to provide them with land near Serpukhov. The idea of creating an American village looks interesting, Primakov added.
