Russian troops liberated the village of Sergeevka on the Krasny Liman direction, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on July 25 according to the ministry’s Telegram channel.
Konashenkov said that the village was liberated during successful counterattacks by units of the 15th Motorized Rifle Brigade under the skillful command of Lieutenant Colonel Buylov.
The lieutenant general also noted that the Russian troops managed to advance 1.5 km deep into the Ukrainian defense in Serebryansky forestry. According to him, the total advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk direction is currently up to 4 kilometers.
In addition, Konashenkov said that over the day, the Russian soldiers repelled four attacks by the Ukrainian armed units. Total losses on the Ukrainian side for the day “amounted to 190 Ukrainian servicemen, 6 armored combat vehicles, 5 pickup trucks, 2 D-20 howitzers, 1 D-30 gun, 2 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery units, as well as a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station.”
