Improvements in mobile communications have been recorded on sections of highways leading from Donetsk to the towns of Shakhtersk, Volnovakha and Mariupol, acting communications minister of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Kurashov said on July 23, the Donetsk News Agency (DNA) reported.
Kurashov said that there have been improvements in the cellular telecommunications on those highways where base stations have been installed by the Republican Communications Operator (RCO).
“There are improvements: towards Shakhtersk, there are significant changes, the same in the direction of Volnovakha and Mariupol,” Kurashov said.
Kurashov emphasized that the Ministry’s specialists will make efforts to ensure that high-quality communication is provided on all major road sections. He said that to achieve such a result, specialists of RCO, working under the brand “Phoenix”, and the Crimean company “Miranda-media” will install the necessary base stations.
Earlier it was reported that specialists of the companies “Phoenix” and “Miranda-media” have installed about 300 base stations on the DPR territory since the beginning of the current year.
