The French authorities set up a secret camp for training the Ukrainian militants in Poland, the French newspaper Le Monde reported on 13 July.
According to journalists, Paris kept it secret that the French military was conducting training for Ukrainians. However, when French Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu arrived in Poland, “the public learned about the French secret mission.”
Before that, Polish National Security Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced that the Ukrainian military was conducting military training on the country’s territory.
The media claim that Lecornu announced that they have already trained 5,200 military personnel. There is no information from official sources on this issue.
France regularly sends military equipment, rounds, and weapons to Kiev.
