The Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Ukrainian warehouse in Nikolaev with long-range Western-made missiles, the coordinator of the city’s underground Sergey Lebedev said, RIA Novosti informed on July 11.
The organizer said that a warehouse with Western-made long-range missiles was hit.
“These missiles were used to arm Ukrainian airplanes at the airfield of the Nikolaev Aircraft Repair Enterprise – NARP – located nearby. According to local residents’ reports, even 12 hours later, fire engines with wailing sirens were seen moving towards the military ground located there,” he added.
In the video, which was provided by Lebedev, a bright flash can be seen at 0:58 a.m. local time on July 10.
According to the underground activist, the camera that recorded it is located about ten kilometers away from the destroyed warehouse.
It is also noted that the head of the Nikolaev regional administration Vitaly Kim reported on the morning of July 10 about “a strike on an infrastructure facility, probably by an Iskander-M missile around 1:00 a.m..”
Lebedev noted that the authorities failed to sound the alarm in time after the strike against the military depot. Now, with the help of the media, they are asking residents to urgently donate blood, claiming that there are no casualties or fatalities.
On July 10, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of ammunition depots of the Ukrainian joint group of troops “Kherson” and the 56th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed units in the areas of the cities of Nikolaev and Kramatorsk.
