Russian air defense forces shot down ten Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of Russia’s special military operation over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service said on its website on July 9.
The press service reported that the Russian army’s air defense units destroyed ten Ukrainian drones in the areas of Orlinskoye, Zaitsevo, Petrovskoye, and Soledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as Zolotarevka, Privolye, Dachnoye, Raigorodok, and Kovalevka in the Lugansk People’s Republic.
As reported by the press service, in the Krasny Liman direction of the special military operation zone, the Center Russian army group, operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems repelled attacks by units of the 21st, 63rd and 66th separate mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian armed units in the areas of Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Novovodynoye and Nevskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic.
According to the press service, in the areas of the settlements of Yampolovka, Torskoye, Terny, Stary Karavan and Grigorovka of the DPR and Chervonaya Dibrova of the LPR the manpower and equipment of the 63rd, 67th separate mechanized, 95th separate airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian armed units and the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine were hit.
