JCCC: Number of casualties caused by Ukrainian armed units’ strike on Makeevka rises to 36

36 civilians were injured by the Ukrainian armed units’ strike on Makeevka, a representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Issues related to the Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC) said on July 5.

“36 civilians, including children: a 2-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, received injuries of varying severity,” as stated in the center’s statement. A 62-year-old man died due to the strike, according to the JCCC.

In addition, according to the center, nine DPR healthcare facilities were damaged.

“Data on civilian casualties as a result of the attack on the Chervonogvardeysk district of Makeevka are being specified,” the JCCC stated.

On July 4, the Ukrainian armed units struck the hospital in Makeevka using multiple rocket launchers. At least, two rockets were reported to hit the facility.
