Two generals and about 50 officers of the Ukrainian Army, as well as about 20 mercenaries and advisers, have been eliminated by the Russian military in a strike on their Kramatorsk site, the Russian Defense Ministry press service stated to reporters on June 29.
The generals are reported to have taken part in the meeting.
“According to clarified information, the two generals who participated in the staff meeting, up to 50 officers of the Ukrainian Army, as well as up to 20 foreign mercenaries and military advisers were destroyed,” said ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
He stressed that the strike targeted the 56th Motorized Infantry Brigade.
