Kurginyan: After the collapse of the USSR the world became unipolar, and the USA lost its mind

29.05.2023, Moscow.

After the USSR collapsed and the world became unipolar, the USA literally went mad, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on May 13 on the Right to Know program on TVC.

The philosopher noted that back in the Brezhnev period a pacifist approach began to form. He explained that in 1945 there could be fears that the USA could make a nuclear strike, but in 1949 the Soviet physicists made a nuclear bomb.

Then we made a thermonuclear bomb, then we made SS-18 missiles with multiple individual reentry vehicles, and it became clear that we could give a devastating retaliatory strike, the political scientist added.

Meanwhile, Kurginyan reminded, there was an Eastern European bloc – the Council for Economic Mutual Assistance (CEMA), the Warsaw Pact. The world was bipolar. But later, the political scientist reminded, the USSR was defeated in the cold war, and the bipolarity was dismantled.

Kurginyan stressed that for the USSR that was its first serious defeat. Before that, the country had no major defeats.

The fact is that it was really the first time when we lost, because in Vietnam we won, and I believe that in Afghanistan we won if we put Gorbachev’s trick aside, and as we can now see, in Korea we at least had a zero balance, and we won in Cuba, the political scientist told.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union the world became unipolar. And then the USA literally went mad.

When the world turned unipolar, which means controlled by the USA, when the second pole was gone, destroyed itself and said it would integrate into Europe, the USA lost its mind. It went mad. Literally, the leader of Essence of Time said.

As facts supporting USA’s madness Kurginyan reminded the concept of the “end of history” by US philosopher and political scientist Francis Fukuyama. He also reminded USA’s bombings, of which the most unlawful was the bombing of Yugoslavia.

Then it (the USA – Rossa Primavera News Agency) began to dictate whatever conditions it wanted. Why did it went out of its mind? Because the other pole disappeared, you see?” Kurginyan stressed.
