The unification of the Kharkov region with Russia would be the best way to stop shelling the Belgorod region, said regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on May 29 on the air of the TV channel Russia 24.
“Kharkov should be united with the Belgorod region. This is the best way to solve the problem of shelling the Belgorod region,” Gladkov said.
The Ukrainian armed units regularly shelled the Belgorod region. Recently, Ukrainian sabotage-recon groups have penetrated the region.
