Artemovsk can be restored, and a plan for its restoration will be prepared after its liberation, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said, RIA Novosti informed on May 19.
“When the city is liberated, we will draw up a plan,” Khusnullin said.
He described what he saw when he visited the city. “There is destruction, the city is similar to Mariupol, but to say that there is some terrible destruction, that the city is all destroyed – no, I will not say so. It is quite possible to rebuild the city,” he stressed.
According to him, the government already has a rough idea of the budget necessary to restore Artemovsk and is preparing an action plan. There has already been formed a pool of builders who are ready to do the job, noted Deputy Prime Minister.
“When the operational situation allows, we will restore it,” Khusnullin concluded.
