Russian Aerospace Forces strike mercenaries groups near Kharkov

08.05.2023, Moscow.

On May 8, Colonel Sergey Zybinsky, head of the press center of the military grouping “West,” said that the Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces had delivered a guided bombing attack on mercenaries units of the Ukrainian armed units.

He noted that the strike was carried out near the village of Ivanovka in the Kharkov region. The aircraft used free-fall bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module (UPCM).

This system turns an ordinary bomb into a high-precision bomb and allows it to hit targets up to 80 km from the drop point.

The Ukrainian fighters has repeatedly complained about UMPC strikes and stated that the Russian Aerospace Force’s possession of these systems has made life very difficult for the Ukrainian armed units.
