The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a missile and bomb attack on the 110th Independent Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian army, located near the village of Avdeevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Vadim Astafyev, the head of the press center of the Russian Armed Forces’ “South” grouping, said this to journalists on May 3.
“The aviation of the ‘South’ grouping of troops destroyed the amassed reserves of the 110th Independent Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian army near Avdeevka,” Astafyev said.
