The Russian Armed Forces launched a massive missile attack on the Ukrainian military-industrial infrastructure, said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov at a briefing on May 1.
“Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted a massive missile strike with air-and sea-based high-precision weapons on Ukrainian military-industrial infrastructure. The goals were achieved. All designated facilities were hit,” reported Konashenkov.
As a result of the strike, the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev would not be able to replenish stocks of ammunition and military equipment, added the Defense Ministry representative.
Earlier, it was reported that Kiev was preparing a major offensive in the near future. Western sponsors of the Bandera (a Nazi collaborator during WWII) regime attach special importance to this offensive.
