The Russian Armed Forces destroyed the Joint Defense Headquarters of the Ukrainian army near Artemovsk with a missile strike, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service informed on April 28.
In addition to the joint headquarters, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Foreign Legion unit near Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Also in Bondarnoye, DPR, a US AN/TPQ-50 Firefinder radar was destroyed.
On April 28, the Ukrainian side lost up to 75 personnel, several pieces of equipment and an ammunition depot in the Kupyansk direction; up to 85 personnel in the Krasny Liman direction.
The Russian Armed Forces continue to liberate the western part of Artemovsk from Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries.
On April 28, air alerts were announced in Ukraine in four regions: Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, and Nikolaevv. They lasted from 15 minutes to several hours.
