The West has no right to speak on behalf of all humanity, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during his speech at the UN on April 24.
“No one has allowed the Western minority to speak on behalf of all humanity,” the Russian foreign minister said.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to participate in one of the central events of Russia’s UN Security Council presidency on April 24 – an open debate on defending the principles of the organization’s Charter.
On April 25, Lavrov will chair another important high-level meeting of the Security Council – an open debate on the Middle East.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Minister described the US authorities’ refusal to issue visas for Russian journalists to participate in the event as manipulation with freedom of speech and journalists’ rights and promised that Moscow “will not forget or forgive” this.
