Russian servicemen carried out a group strike against the Ukrainian armed units near Seversk, Ivan Bigma, head of the press center of the South Group, said, RIA Novosti reported on April 18.
“Near Seversk, artillery crews of Uragan and Grad multiple-launch rocket systems of the 2nd Army Corps of the Southern Military District carried out a group strike on amassed manpower and military equipment of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed units,” the military said.
He added that in the vicinity of the village of Belogorovka, Russian aviation struck the locations of the units of the 81st Air Mobility Brigade of the Ukrainian armed units. Bigma noted that the Ukrainian armed units suffered losses among military personnel and equipment.
The Russian military delivered large-caliber artillery strikes against the locations of the 59th mechanized and 79th airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian armed units in the areas of Novomikhaylovka, Mariinka and other villages. There were losses among Ukrainian servicemen and their equipment.
